Ring Lardner suffers two-point loss

The Ring Lardner Middle School seventh grade football team dropped a 16-14 decision to Kalamazoo Christian, falling to 0-2 on the season.
Niles scored first on a 39-yard touchdown run before the Comets scored 16 unanswered points.
Chris Lighthart then caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from Andrew Brawley at the end of the second quarter. Reese carried in the two-point conversion to close the gap to 16-14. Both teams went scoreless in the second half.
