Layher’s return big for Bucks

Ashlee Layher returned in a big way for the Buchanan basketball team.
Losing their last two games in Layher's absence due to illness, the Bucks rebounded for a 55-42 non-conference victory Tuesday night over Eau Claire.
Buchanan leapt out to a 31-15 lead at halftime and stretched the lead to 46-22 by the end of the third quarter.
Layher led all scorers with 22 points and is now averaging better than 25 points per game. Sheena Bradshaw added 10 points for Buchanan, which is now 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the Lakeland Conference.
