Niles finishes third in West

The Niles varsity golf team finished third on Tuesday at the Big-16 Conference West Division jamboree.
Lakeshore captured the jamboree hosted by Benton Harbor at Blossom Trials with a team total of 155.
St. Joseph was second with a score of 162, while Niles finished third with 167. Dowagiac's team total was 171.
Ben Landgraf led the Vikings with a round of 38. Josh Flock shot 41 with Andy Hoyt finishing with a 43. Darin Martin shot 45 with Matt Molnar and Nick Horn shooting 50 and 51 respectively.
Dowagiac's David Maxey shot a one-over-par 35 to lead the Chieftains, who also got a 44 from Ken Scott, a 45 from Scott Wilkinson and a 46 from Kyle Owen.
Adam Carlson and Ken Franz shot 52 and 53 respectively.
St. Joe lead the overall standings with 26 points. Niles is second with 24 points, while Lakeshore is third with 22 points.
Dowagiac has 12 points and Benton Harbor six points.
