CASSOPOLIS -- Jeff Peterson on Wednesday showed 1,305 pounds of grand champion steer for the second time in the Cass County Fair beef show.
Jeff, 17, of Niles, will be a senior at Brandywine High School.
He also won two years ago.
Jeff, a member of Country Trailblazers 4-H Club, also shows hogs, for which he earned reserve champion medium lightweight gilt.
He finished fourth in senior beef showmanship.
After high school, Jeff, son of Gail and Mary Lou Peterson, plans to attend Michigan State University.
Sara McIntyre, 16, of Cassopolis, exhibited the reserve champion steer.
