The Niles F.O.P. 10-year-old All-Star baseball team earned a spot in the District 15 Tournament championship game with an 8-7 victory over Dowagiac Wednesday night.

The F.O.P. 8-year-old All-Star team also notched another victory in District 15 Tournament action Wednesday night, beating Cassopolis 9-3 at Schoolcraft.
Derek Scott and Ethan Zimmerman each hit a double and a single to lead the F.O.P. All-Stars.
Geordan Griffin added three singles while Mitchell Dehn, Alex Wright and Connor Glick each hit two singles.

Worth mention
Two names were unintentionally left out from the results reported for the F.O.P. 8-year-old All-Stars in the Niles Daily Star on Wednesday, July 23.
Derek Scott hit a double and two singles while Kevin Ballge hit a double as the F.O.P. All-Stars beat Mattawan 12-7.
The Daily Star regrets these omissions.
