Home invaders strike again

CASSOPOLIS -- Two home invasions occurred in Milton Township early Saturday morning, June 28, Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports.
Two armed suspects forced entry into the homes, assaulted the homeowners and took money.
None of the victims were seriously injured in the attacks.
Suspects also disabled the phones and used duct tape to bind the victims.
The suspects are described as two black males weighing 180 to 200 pounds and in their late 20s in age.
The sheriff said these incidents are believed to be related to the string of home invasions that have been occurring in the South Bend, Ind., Niles and Niles Township areas.
The suspects appear to be targeting the elderly and are looking for money and weapons.
