Lakeland RIP Camp begins July 14

Lakeland Rehabilitation Center, Sports Physical Therapy is hosting a summer athletic camp for male and female athletes in grades nine and above.
The camp runs for four weeks and begins on July 14. It meets on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. during the four weeks of camp.
Registration for the $90 camp is going on now.
The RIP (Running to Improve Performance) Camp 2003 is designed for cross country and track runners interested in improving their running efficiency. It is also recommended for sports where running is a key element, such as football, basketball or soccer.
The camp is open to male and female athletes, and emphasizes running efficiency, leg turnover rhythm, balance, core stability, hip strength and flexibility, and lower extremity power.
RIP camp will use functional and dynamic training, along with traditional drill work to improve running technique.
