Niles 13-year-old travel baseball team wins three of four games during last week

The Niles 13-year-old travel baseball team won 3-of-4 games last week.
On Monday Niles defeated the Bangor Volcanoes 3-1. Alex Welch, Jamie Simpson and Paul Dreher had clutch hits for the Vikings while Nick Fedore, Dan Holland, and Simpson limited the Volcanoes to three hits.
On Wednesday Niles lost 12-2 to the Portage Prowlers. Welch, Dreher and Keith Prak had hits for Niles in the defeat.
The Vikings bounced back on Thursday to bomb Coloma, 17-5. D.J. Wolnick got the win with relief help from David Ralston and Welch. Kyle Prak, Jerod Flock, and Welch each had two hits for Niles.
On Friday Niles defeated Berrien Springs 12-2. Jeff Jurgonski got the win with relief help from Holland. Kyle Prak with two hits and Flock with a three-RBI double led the 11-hit Niles attack.
Niles is now 21-8, including 9-5 in league play, on the season.
