Four Bobcats earn All-State honors

NILES -- As in years past, the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association recently recognized the Brandywine varsity softball team for its efforts this past sesaon.
The All-State honors were released Tuesday and four Bobcats were on the First Team and Honorable Mention lists.
Senior shortstop Nakisha Washington, senior second baseman Lauren Heyn and junior pitcher Nicki McGowen each made the First Team. Senior outfielder/first baseman Jessica Keeton made the Honorable Mention list.
Those four, along with junior third baseman Kayla Asmus, also earned All-Region honors.
