Vikings win six at Plymouth

The Vikings, a sixth grade girls basketball team from Niles, travelled to Plymouth, Ind., recently to participate in the American Youth Basketball Tour's event. The Vikings played six games against teams from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin and went undefeated.
The Vikings averaged 47 points per game while giving up just 12 per contest. Lindsay Craig led all scorers with an average of 22 points per game. She also scored 30 points in two games. Kaleigh Hill dominated the boards for the Vikings, averaging 11 rebounds per game and Kaitlyn Tuohey averaged five steals per game.
The members of the Vikings are Nellie Coquillard, Craig, Bryanna , Erica Gordon, Hill, Jenna Ignowski, Autumn Lucero, Aubrey Minix, Alyssa Pingel, Demi Schrader, Rachel Smith, Tuohey and Sarah Tyler.
