Kyle Prak's leadoff home run got things started and David Ralston's four and two-thirds innings of shutout relief proved to be the difference in the Niles 13-year-old travel baseball team's 7-3 win over Mattawan Friday evening.
Keith Prak's two hits led the eight-hit Niles attack.
On Saturday Niles rallied with three runs in the sixth and then scored the winning run in the seventh on Paul Dreher's RBI single to defeat River Valley No. 1 4-3.
Jamie Simpson, Alex Welch and Nick Fedore, who picked up the win, each turned in two strong innings for Niles in relief of starter Jake Ferguson.
Niles is now 18-6 overall and 9-4 in Kalamazoo league play.
