Buchanan preps for districts with split against Bees

The Buchanan varsity baseball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Bridgman in preparation for Saturday's Division 3 District Tournament at River Valley High School.
The Bucks gave up a 3-0 loss in the first game against the Bees but bounced back for a 2-1 win in the second game.
Buchanan, now 9-19, will take on Brandywine in the semfinal round Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
Raymond Payne picked up the pitching victory for the Bucks in the second game against Bridgman. Kyle Tracey and Jeremy Lucas both doubled for Buchanan.
