Pair of Bobcats earn All-State honors

Two members of the Brandywine High School varsity volleyball team wich reached the Class C semifinals this past season have received All-State recognition.
Senior middle hitter Carrie Cooper and sophomore setter/outside hitter Emily Whitney each made the Class C All-State Third Team, voted on by the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association.
It is the second All-State honor for Whitney and the first for Cooper who plans to attend Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids this fall.
