Buchanan's softball team improved to 7-1 in the league with a sweep of Berrien Springs Tuesday afternoon. The Bucks earned victories of 3-2 and 9-3 to improve to 12-6 on the year.
Jenni Klutts earned the pitching victory in the first game, which went eight innings. Tara Paturalski paced the Bucks on offense with a triple and a double. Klutts helped her own cause with a double.
Caryn Dodson improved to 3-2 with the pitching victory in the second game.
Colleen O'Toole and Stephanie Miller each hit a home run for the Bucks in the second game. Miller also doubled as did Klutts.
The Bucks host Brandywine on Thursday, May 8.
