Bucks lose to Beavers, Mustangs

The Buchanan track and field teams hosted a three-way meet Monday and lost to both of their guests.
In the boys' competition, River Valley edged Buchanan 68-60 and Eau Claire beat Buchanan 77-51.
The River Valley girls beat Buchanan 91-33 while Eau Claire beat the Lady Bucks 63-52.
Quinton Buish had a solid night for Buchanan. The junior won the high jump by clearing 5-11. He also earned first place in the long jump against River Valley with a leap of 16-10.5. On the track, Buish earned first place against River Valley in the 100-meter hurdles and second place in teh 100-meter dash.
Buchanan will take part in a three-way meet at Niles on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
