The Big-16 Conference West Division showdowns between Lakeshore and Dowagiac's baseball and softball programs were put on hold late Tuesday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m. the Dowagiac athletic office received a phone call from Lakeshore High School asking if the games, both varsity and junior varsity, could be postponed.
Since the wind chill was 29 degrees, officials and coaches agreed it would be better not to play.
The games will be made up on May 12.
