The Flying Dutch competed in a unique MIAA quad-dual at Calvin College. Faced with cancellations caused by bad weather in recent weeks, the teams from Adrian, Alma, Calvin, Hope and Olivet came together.
The loss was to Calvin 103-51 while victories were 98-56 over Adrian, 117-37 over Alma and 141-9 over Olivet. The Flying Dutch stand 4-1 in MIAA women's duals.
Hope winners were Emily Schlitz, javelin (115-3); Christy Watkin, long jump (18-1) and Brooke Oosting, 400 meters (:59.0).
Dowagiac's Angela Saxton was sixth in both the 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles. Saxton ran 17.56 in the 100-meter hurdles, while she was clocked at 1:13.14 in the 400-meter hurdles.
