The Buchanan tennis team visited Niles for its first dual match of the season and went home with a 7-1 victory.
For Niles, it was the first time any player had recorded a victory. Rafael Garrido beat Buchanan's Patrik Kubala 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 at No. 4 singles.
The Bucks' singles lineup was an unusual one, as No. 2 singles player Ryan Evick was out with an injury.
Buchanan, now 1-0, returns to action Saturday at the Almont Invitational. Niles, now 0-3, hosts Lakeshore Monday.
