The Dowagiac varsity baseball team is looking to add to its winning ways today at it travels to Edwardsburg for a non-conference doubleheader.
The Chieftains are fresh from a pair of wins at the South Haven Invitational where they scored 30 runs and banged out 26 hits.
Edwardsburg will be trying to improve on its 15-15 record from a season ago.
The Eddies return five starters from last season including Nathan and Anthony Peak.
Also back for the Eddies are Scott Mellon, Brian Bortz and Zach Rooney.
Rooney hit .400 for the Eddies last season, while Anthony Peak hit .330.
Today's doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.
