Brandywine improves to 7-1 with easy victory

BERRIEN SPRINGS — Visiting Brandywine outscored Berrien Springs 13-4 in the opening quarter and never looked back in a 59-34 BCS Athletic Conference Red Division victory Thursday.

The Bobcats (7-1, 4-0 Red) led 26-13 at halftime and 48-22 heading into the final quarter.

Makenna Hartline led Brandywine and all scorers with 17 points. Jaleesa Garner added 16.

Kyra Sanders tied for game-high honors as she led the Shamrocks with 17 points.
