Niles History Center to celebrate New Year

The Niles History Center will host a New Year’s celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31.

The family friendly event will include a time capsule, noisemakers and party hats.

Attendees will ring in the New Year at 12 p.m.

There will also be opportunities to learn about the history behind New Year’s Eve traditions.

The Niles History Center, which encompasses the Fort St. Joseph Museum and historic Chapin Mansion, is located at 508 E. Main St., in downtown Niles.
