Tre Christopher Michael Fosdick

Tre’ Christopher Michael Fosdick, 15, of Cassopolis, went home to heaven peacefully Saturday evening, November 21, 2015 in the presence of those whom he loved and who loved him for the special boy that he was.

He was born April 18, 2000, in Niles, Michigan to David Mintzer and Terri Fosdick. His parents survive.

Tre’ will be remembered for his perseverance and enduring strength. His complete innocence is an undeniable trait he possessed. His smile would light up a room and is something that he continuously wore, even through the most grueling and trying times. Tre’ could never do any wrong. He touched the heart of every single person he came into contact with and changed so many souls in his time with us on this earth. Surely God thought highly of Tre’ because only special souls can change the lives of so many people without ever having to say a word. While his time here was filled with trials and endless tribulations, it is certain that God has prepared for him one of the most glorious mansions that heaven will ever see!

You may have shed your earthly binding, Tre’, but your Spirit will continue to be with everyone that had the honor of knowing you!

Tre’ will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Terri (fiance’ Andrew Jones) Conner of Cassopolis; his biological father, David Mintzer of Florida; his “dad” Shawn Elliott of Dowagiac; siblings, Madison Conner, Mitchell Conner, Jr., Jackson Conner, Drew Jones, Caitlin Jones, Brylee Jones; maternal grandparents, Taylor Fosdick of Edwardsburg, Rachel Lee of Cassopolis; maternal great grandmother, Mary-Alice Johnson of Elkhart; paternal grandmother, Donna Brown of Dowagiac; and special friend, Chloe Deans.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at noon in Church of Cassopolis, 520 Pearl St., Cassopolis, followed by a Celebration of Tre’s life at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2441, 101 East Railroad Street, Dowagiac.

The family prefers contributions be made in Tre’s memory to the funeral home to help defray final expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, Cassopolis. Please share a memory or a message online: wagnercares.com.
