Students with Jennifer Wilson’s fifth-grade classroom at Kincheloe Elementary received a special visit Thursday morning when Honor Credit Union Branch Manager Janie Reifenberg personally responded to a letter delivered to her by one of students.

The class, alongside students with the other fifth-grade class taught by Christopher Cox, is currently raising money for a special school-wide service project, intended to pay for healthy midday snacks for children who do not bring any with them to class.

Honor was one of several businesses the students wrote to asking for contributions to help fund the project. Reifenberg responded by personally delivering $100 to the classroom, which assembled in the elementary school library. The two classes intend to continue their efforts to raise money for the project through the rest of November.
