Rock for the Cure Michiana will be holding a benefit show to raise money for Daniel Blake, a Michiana resident who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, on Friday, Oct. 30 at Pizza Transit in Niles.

The event will include live music, food, non-alcoholic drinks and a costume contest with prizes for best adult, youth, and couples costumes.

The event will last from 9 p.m until midnight, during which time the audience will be treated to live music from All My Sins Remembered, Humanity Level, and Compass.

There will be a $10 cover charge at the door, and the benefit is all for ages. Children 12 years of age or younger can get in for $5.

The cover fee will get each person a wristband, allowing them access to all-you-can-eat pizza, drinks and live music.

All proceeds will be donated to the Dan Blake fund to help him fight cancer.

In the past, Rock for the Cure Michiana has raised upwards of $1,100 at each event.

Pizza Transit is located at 215 E. Main St.
