The Niles JV Volleyball Team won the Comstock Invitational Saturday.

The Vikings got off to a very slow start as they split their first two matches against Delton Kellogg (23-35, 25-19) and Battle Creek Harper Creek (23-25, 25-13).

However, as the day went on Niles was able to pick up its game and control the game with not making as many errors.

Niles then beat Otsego in two sets (25-18, 25-22) to take first place in pool play. Going into the tournament Niles defeated Sturgis first in two sets (25-13, 25-9).  In the semifinals, the Vikings beat Otsego for the second time that day 25-18, 25-14.

Niles took on Three Rivers in the championship match, winning in three sets 25-10, 22-25, 15-10,

Niles is now 7-1-4.
