Brandywine goes deep to sweep Bison

Brandywine used the long ball to open up BCS Athletic Conference action Tuesday.

The Bobcats swept visiting New Buffalo 8-2 and 8-6.

Brandywine needed a two-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to win the nightcap.

In the doubleheader, the Bobcats (5-1, 2-0 BCS) had six extra base hits.

Hunter Janowiak homered in the first game, while Tanner Bourdan doubled and tripled. Brady Duval also had a double.

In the nightcap, Toby Fox doubled and Cole Searles, who was the winning pitcher, homered.

Fox picked up the victory in the first game as he tossed a four-hitter.
