Weston and Leslie Thompson, of Dowagiac, are the parents of a son, born Feb. 25, 2015, at Lakeland-Niles.

He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces.

The Thompsons are also the parents of five daughters: Katelyn, 11; Isabella, 9; Hannah, 9; Kellie, 6; Leanna, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Janet Huggins and Kenny Collins, of Arkansas, and paternal grandparents are Randy and Kim Thompson, of Dowagiac.

Maternal great-grandmother is Barb Lenex and paternal great-grandparents are Dave and Pat Sziede, of Marcellus.

 

Venzon-Gard

Cody Venzon and Tabitha Gard, of Niles, are the parents of a daughter, born Feb. 18, 2015, at Lakeland-Niles.

She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Jessica and Jack Gard, of Niles, and paternal grandparents are Candy and Ed Smallwood, of Mena, Arkansas.

Maternal great-grandparents are Karen and Ed McComb of Niles.

Joyce Kotoka and Isaac Kumi, of Niles, are the parents of a daughter, Davina Kumi, born Feb. 13, 2015, at Lakeland-Niles.

Davina weighed 4 pounds, 13 ounces.

The Kumis are also the parents of one son and one daughter: Miriam, 5, and Daniel, 2.

Maternal grandmother is Everstina Agyayoung and paternal grandfather is Jacob Obeney.
