A workshop on taxes and assessments will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday, March 2 at Milton Township Hall, 32097 Bertrand St., Niles.

Attendees will get insight on assessments, taxes and learning how to challenge if needed.

It is free and open to all Michigan residents.

The workshop will be led by Supervisor Robert Benjamin, Assessor Bill Gibert, Cass County Equalization Director Tony Maynard and Treasurer Susan Flowers.

Residents are encouraged to bring their assessment notice.

A question and answer session will follow the presentation in which attendees can get individual help on their assessments.
