STEVENSVILLE — The Niles wrestling team continues to make short work of its opponents.

At the Lakeshore SMAC Quad Wednesday night, the No. 3-ranked Vikings destroyed Battle Creek Central 70-0 and Battle Creek Lakeview 54-15 to improve to 18-3 on the season.

Next up for Niles is defending its Greater Berrien County Invitational title Saturday before hosting Lakeshore for the SMAC West Division championship Wednesday.

Cade Stephenson returned to the mat Wednesday and picked a pair of wins for the Vikings. Stephenson, who took some forfeits on Saturday, had been out with an injury.

Also winning two matches were Josh Dayhuff (119), Brenden Hall (125), Mitchell Findeisen (130), Warren Smith (135), Fred Kemp (160), Sean Craig (171) Ted Jankowiak (215) and Alex Bata (285).
