STURGIS — The Dowagiac wrestling team dropped a pair of Wolverine Conference matches at Sturgis Monday.

The Chieftains were defeated by the host Trojans 60-13 and by Three Rivers 49-18.

Winning two matches for Dowagiac was Aubrey Huston.

Picking up wins against Sturgis were Jose Lopez and Tristan Howard.

Earning wins against the Wildcats were Gage Williams, Shawk Sirk, Nathanael Ward and Nathan Tackitt.

Dowagiac play host to South Haven, Coloma and Paw Paw tonight as it hosts a Wolvearine Conference Quad.

Wrestling will begin at 5:30 p.m.
