Robert Earl Jaseph, 70, of White Pigeon, died peacefully Thursday, Dec, 4, 2014, in the presence of his family in Elkhart General Hospital.

Robert was born May 22, 1944 in Elkhart, Indiana to Earl and Irene (Sheetz) Jaseph. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne Jaseph.

Bob was a man of strength and determination, caring about and helping many people. He will be remembered for the love of his family, gardening, flowers, and going to yard sales.

Robert will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by one daughter, Rhonda (Greg) Ivens of Cassopolis: one son, Robert Earl Jaseph, Jr. of White Pigeon; one granddaughter, Reva Ivens of Warsaw, Indiana; two great grandsons, Dane Ray Mason and Ace Carter Mason; one sister, Joan Cole of Niles; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Monday, Dec. 8, 2014 for a time of storytelling and sharing from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway St., Cassopolis, when we will process to the cemetery for interment. Mr. Jaseph will be laid to rest in Poe Cemetery, Jones, Michigan.

The family prefers contributions be made in Bob’s memory to UMDF (United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation), 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15239, in support of Bob’s great nephew, Kaleb Cole.
