A trio of Niles soccer players were named to the first team of the All-SMAC West Division squad.

Sammy Rodts, Nick Suckle and Sheldon Mudd were named to the squad by the West Division coaches.

Rodts was also third team all-state, first team all-region and first team all-district. Rodts recently was named Academic All-State by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.

He had 17 goals and six assists this past season.

Suckle, who had 13 assists on the year, was also a first team all-district and was Academic All-State.

Mudd was a second team all-district selection.

Alex Jasper, an honorable mention All-SMAC West, was a second team all-district pick.

Dylan Fillwock and Jose Magna were both honorable mention All-SMAC West.
