Dowagiac will travel to South Haven for a Wolverine Conference match at 5 p.m. on Wednesday before hosting its annual Chieftain Invitational on Saturday.

The action begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

The Chieftain tennis team returns to action after a short layoff as it hosts Lakeshore in a non-conference match at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Dowagiac football team, which dropped a 28-13 decision to Plainwell in its season opener Friday night, will open the home portion of its 2014 schedule against Sturgis at 7 p.m. on Friday.
