PAW PAW — The Brandywine tennis team dropped a pair of matches at the Paw Paw Invitational in its season opener Wednesday.

The Bobcats lost to Traverse City St. Francis 8-0 and to the host Redskins 5-3.

Winning for Brandywine against Paw Paw were Chance Smith at No. 1 singles, Tanner Bourdon at No. 2 singles and the No. 3 doubles team of Chad Brooks and Jon Gamble.

Brandywine is back in action on Saturday at the South Bend St. Joe Invitational.
