Six people were injured in a crash on Redfield Road in Milton Township Saturday, according to Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood.

Underwood reports that his office was called to the scene of the crash near Gumwood Road at approximately 7:10 p.m.

Erika Kanczuzewski, 47, of Niles, and her children, David, 13, and Ava, 8, were traveling westbound on Redfield when another vehicle turned in front of them.

This vehicle, driven by Stephen Armet, 23, of Granger, was traveling southbound on Gumwood Street.

Armet and passenger Christopher Pavinca, 23, were taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment. Another passenger, Evan Armet, 21, was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Hospital along with the

Kanczuzewski family.

Setabelts were used, and alcohol may have been a factor.

This case remains under investigation.
