On Sunday, June 22, at 1:30 p.m., the First United Methodist Church, 326 N. Lowes St., will host MEN, the Male Ensemble Nouveau.

This choral concert will benefit scholarship assistance for area students attending the Dogwood Youth Vocal Choral Camp in July. Tickets for the performance will be a freewill offering.

The past six years have seen over 200 students attend the summer vocal camp and a growing number return each year. Contributions from the concert will support student scholarships to the 2014 choral day camp running July 7-11.

Camp is a one-week music workshop designed to develop and encourage the art of choral/vocal music. Students are from area middle school students (grades 6 through 9) and registration is $75.  Members of the Chorale are directors, teachers and mentors at the weeklong camp.
