Women’s Summer Bible Study beings Tuesday at CUMC

Published 12:29 pm Thursday, June 5, 2014

Women’s Summer Bible Study will begin in the downstairs classroom of the Cassopolis United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

This is the sixth summer that the church, located at 209 S. Rowland St., has hosted a summer bible study that is open to women of all faiths, denominations and churches. Additionally, because the weekly gatherings are “low-key” and flexible, attendees need not have any past experience in bible study classes or any previous knowledge of the Bible.

Each class is structured so all are welcome whenever their summer schedule permits.

The focus of the 2014 summer study will be prayer and will begin with materials by Philip Yancey entitled “Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference?”

Attendees will have the option of using the study guides provided or just attending the weekly sessions.
