The Niles baseball team swept a Big 16 West Division doubleheader from Kalamazoo Central Tuesday.

The Vikings defeated the Maroon Giants 2-0 and 4-3.

In the first game, Tate Brawley tossed a one-hitter with seven strikeouts and Bryce Lake doubled and drove in both runs.

In the nightcap, Tate Rudlaff scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the sixth and the Vikings held on for the win.

Rudlaff and Connor Glick both doubled for Niles.

Tyler Clutter went the distance to earn the victory as the Vikings improved to 13-7 on the year.
