Marissa Galvan scored the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute as visiting Hartford handed Brandywine its first loss in soccer Thursday, 2-1.

The Bobcats (4-1) got on the board first, scoring just three minutes into the match on a goal by Cassie Luczkowski off an assist from Brooke Smith.

Galvan tied the match in the 19th minute at 1-1.

Both teams finished with 10 shots on goal. Brandywine’s Sloan Kangas made eight saves.
