ere at Leader Publications, our newsroom is always working to not only deliver the highest quality stories about the events that impact our readers, but to also serve as a platform to let the community make their voices heard.

One of the ways we have done that is with our Opinion section, which runs in the Daily News every Thursday. While many of our readers are more than happy to provide us with letters to editor that we run on the page, some may feel the need to the share their thoughts, opinions and stories to their neighbors on a more routine basis.

The best way to make your voice heard is to become one our featured columnists. Right now, the Daily News is looking for additional voices to add to offer our readers new perspectives on their community.

Regardless of your career or background, we want to hear what you have to say.

Anyone interested in becoming a columnist should contact Ted Yoakum by phone at (269) 588-1040, by email at ted.yoakum@leaderpub.com or in person at the Daily New’s office inside the Dowagiac train station at 200 Depot Dr.
