A pair of first half goals was all Buchanan needed in a 3-0 non-conference soccer win over New Buffalo in the season opener for both schools.

Jada Meahl and Maddy Vorrath scored in the opening half for Buchanan, which led 2-0.

Andi Frost capped the scoring with a second half goal for the Bucks, who outshot the Bison 22-1.
