Rangers beat Bangor to advance to title game

BANGOR — A 21-point fourth quarter propelled Cassopolis into championship game of the Bangor Holiday Tournament against Brandywine tonight.

The Rangers led just 22-19 heading into the fourth quarter. Cassopolis (4-1) outscored the host Vikings 21-16 to pull out the 43-35 victory.

Kaylyn Forrest and Brittany Prestly both scored nine points, while Kortenei Suggs added eight points.

Bangor (2-3) was led by Chelsea Byrd and Cheyenne Schultz, both of whom scored eight points.
