BC Animal Control offers shot clinics

Published 9:15 am Tuesday, October 15, 2013

Berrien County Animal Control will be holding its fifth annual shot clinics beginning in November and ending in February.
The clinics are open to both dogs and cats, so the shelter is asking those who attend to please bring pets on a leash or in a carrier.
Cost is $20 for a distemper vaccine, $20 for a 1-year rabies vaccine and $25 for a 3-year rabies vaccine. Pets must be at least one year and three months old, and have had a one year rabies shot in the past in order to receive a three-year rabies shot at the clinic.
People can view upcoming clinic dates and locations, as well as preregister online at berriencounty.org or by calling Berrien County Animal Control at (269) 471-7531. Pre-registration is appreciated, but not required.
Walk-ins will be welcome.
People will also be able to purchase a county license at every clinic. Please bring a license renewal form with you. The shelter will only accept cash.
