Schmidt scores twice in Bobcats’ loss

HARTFORD – Zach Schmidt scored a pair of goals, including one on a penalty kick, in Brandywine’s 7-3 loss to Hartford Tuesday.

Schmidt scored in the 30th minute to cut the Indians’ four-goal first half lead to 4-1.

Schmidt’s second goal came off a penalty kick in the 31st minute.

Hartford was outshot 20-6. Brock Hartline had 12 saves for the Bobcats.
