DECATUR — The Brandywine softball team dropped a pair of close games to No. 8-ranked Decatur Monday.

The Bobcats (21-7) were defeated by the Raiders (19-4) 4-1 and 5-3.

Mikayla Kemp took the loss in the opening, while Hannah Hadden suffered the loss in the second game.

Brandywine finished with five hits in the opener, including doubles by Michaela Hartline and Kelly Harper.

The Bobcats had six hits in the nightcap, including a double by Hartline.
