Chieftain soccer team blanked by Three Rivers, Vicksburg

THREE RIVERS — Host Three Rivers scored with four seconds remaining in the first half to enforce the eight-goal mercy rule Wednesday night.

The Wildcats handed Dowagiac an 8-0 setback.

Alica Schmidtenorff had a pair of goals for Three Rivers, as did Addy Cooper. Cooper’s two goals came at the end of the first half.

Dowagiac was outshot by the Wildcats 18-1. Mara Nelson had 10 saves for the Chieftains.

South Haven at Dowagiac

SOUTH HAVEN — The Dowagiac soccer team was blanked by visiting South Haven 8-0 Monday.

Dakota Trinka scored three goals for the Rams, while Jessica Miles added a pair of scores.

South Haven outshot the Chieftains 20-1. Mara Nelson had six saves for Dowagiac.
