Weather continues to play havoc with schedules

The weather continues to play a key role in the area sports landscape.

Heavy rain and the potential for strong thunderstorms left athletic directors without any choice but to cancel all games scheduled for Thursday.

A couple of events have already been rescheduled.

The Dowagiac softball doubleheader at Niles has been reset for April 24.

Edwardsburg will host Niles in girls soccer Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.

The Niles golf team will join Dowagiac and Cassopolis at Diamond Lake Golf Course today.

Events that were postponed or cancelled and have not yet been rescheduled included:

Bridgman at Brandywine tennis

LMC at Edwardsburg tennis

Three Rivers at Edwardsburg baseball

Three Rivers at Edwardsburg softball

Niles golf at South Bend Washington

Niles baseball at S.B. St. Joseph
