Edwardsburg baseball falls to Clay

SOUTH BEND — Brett Bowman went 3-for-3 at the plate, but Edwardsburg fell 13-5 to host South Bend Clay in non-conference baseball Tuesday.

Santos Kramer recorded the win for Clay. He allowed one run over three innings. Kramer struck out four, walked three and gave up one hit.

The Colonials were sparked by Joey Lange and Joe Stukenborg, who teamed up for four hits and eight RBIs.

The Eddies (0-1) managed just four hits in the contest. Jackson Gaideski had the other hit for Edwardsburg.
