No games in sight for area teams

Weather continues to play havoc with the area sports schedules.

Following the loss of Monday and Tuesday games to cold, snow and poor playing conditions, Wednesday’s contests are now being affected.

The Brandywine softball and baseball doubleheaders against visiting River Valley set for today and Thursday respectively have been postponed until April 24.

The Bobcats’ Spring Break Relays track invitational has been canceled and will not be made up. Brandywine’s tennis doubleheader with Kalamazoo Hackett and Eau Claire has been postponed. No make-up date was available at press time.

Niles has postponed its tennis match at Edwardsburg until April 11, while its baseball game at South Bend St. Joseph is postponed until April 18.

The Vikings’ soccer match at Edwardsburg has also been postponed. No make-up date has been set.

Cassopolis has postponed its soccer match against New Buffalo today and its baseball and softball non-league doubleheaders with New Buffalo scheduled for Thursday.

No make-up dates have been announced.
