Hot shooting Vikings top Central

KALAMAZOO – Shooting 45 percent from the field Friday night, Viking Niles was able to earn a 70-60 Big 16 West Division boys basketball victory over Kalamazoo Central.

The Vikings (6-13) jumped out to a 15-8 lead after one quarter and then held on for the victory.

Tate Brawley led Niles and all scorers with 24 points. Alec Brown added 23.
